Mrs. Fortune, Mrs. Cormier, Mrs. Brown and Mme Penny coached the two SMS girls varsity basketball teams this year. Mrs. Fortune said the season was very successful and they ran 2 very even teams. She noted that the girls had very good commitment, as well as the coaches, and that "the timekeepers ran the show without a hitch". When it came down to the finals, the two SMS teams went head to head in front of a big crowd. It was an extremely close game, but SMS 1 pulled slightly ahead at the end. Great job to both teams!
