Engineering Design Process STEM Challenges

This past term, our Grade 6 Team has focused on learning about engineering. What is an Engineer? What types of engineers are there? Why is engineering an important area? How are our everyday lives affected by engineers?

We are following a storyline based on the adventures of a group of superheroes. We must complete engineering challenges to combat the evil villains. Following the Engineering Design Process, we design and test prototypes such as towers, bridges, and boats.
